Enjoy the Comforts of TahoeThe location for the CAJPA Fall Conference will once again, by popular demand, be held in South Lake Tahoe area. All of our general sessions, breakout sessions, meals, and most special events will be held at the brand-new Tahoe Blue Event Center.
Our host hotels are Margaritaville (formerly the Lake Tahoe Resort), Harrah’s and Harveys. Room rates and availability are listed below.
Cut off date for all three hotels is August 10, but room blocks sell out quickly and may not be available until that date. Get your reservations in early!

SCAM ALERT!
You may receive emails regarding “discounted” sleeping rooms for the CAJPA conference. These are fishing emails and are not part of the CAJPA room block and could very well be fraudulent. The only authorized sleeping rooms for CAJPA are on the CAJPA website and advertised through emails directly from CAJPA or CAJPA staff. We have heard of various issues with booking through these bogus emails and would advise you not to engage with them or book sleeping rooms through them.
Margaritaville (formerly the Lake Tahoe Resort) Room Rates
Sunday-Thursday:
- $249: Single/Double Occupancy; King Bed
- $269: Single/Double Occupancy; Two Queen Beds
Rates above do not include taxes/resort fee/parking.
$40 per room per night resort fee, plus tax. This is a special rate for CAJPA. This which includes: Lobby and in-suite basic wifi, unlimited use of the fitness center, two water bottles per day, Keurig Coffee Maker with K-ups.
$23.20 for overnight guests per night for valet parking. This is a special rate for CAJPA, but subject to change. The hotel has valet parking only.
A non-refundable 1st nights room and tax deposit is due with reservation. All cancellations will forfeit this deposit regardless of cancellation time frame. Changes/and or cancellations within 14 days of arrival will result in full forfeit for length of stay.

Both Harrah’s and Harveys Hotels are located on the Nevada side of Tahoe.
Above pricing for both Harrah’s and Harveys does not include resort fee and any relevant taxes.
- Resort Fee is $20.00 per night plus occupancy tax (Currently 14%) which includes:
- Unlimited phone calls (no long distance or international calls)
- Two (2) Guest admissions per day to the Fitness Center (does not include use of the spa)
- In-room internet access to include two (2) devices per room per day (Property-wide and inter property roaming available at that property for an additional fee)
- Occupancy Tax (currently 14% per night)
- County Tax (currently $5.00 per night)
Self-Parking at both Harrah’s and Harveys is complimentary for guests staying at either of these hotels.

This will ensure that the group rate is quoted.
All reservations made via the telephone call center will be assessed a fee of $15 per reservation. This fee will not apply to reservations made via the Internet Reservation Link.
IMPORTANT: All hotels have the following cancellation clause:
