Hotel Accommodations

By popular demand, this year’s conference returns to the Tahoe area!

The location for the CAJPA Fall Conference will once again, by popular demand, be held in the South Lake Tahoe area. All of our general sessions, breakout sessions, meals, and most special events will be held at the brand-new Tahoe Blue Event Center.

Our host hotels are Margaritaville (formerly the Lake Tahoe Resort) and Caesars Republic (formerly Harveys). Room rates and availability are listed below.

Cut off date for all three hotels is August 15, but room blocks sell out quickly and may not be available until that date. Get your reservations in early!

NOTE: Due to new State of California transparency regulations, the hotel room rates on the links below may list additional items in the rate, such as fees and taxes. We have attempted to delineate below what is exactly included on the rate listed.

Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe

Monday-Thursday:

$294: Single/Double Occupancy; King Bed – CAJPA rate of $259, plus the resort fee of $35 per room per night (taxes not included).

$314: Single/Double Occupancy; Two Queen Beds – CAJPA rate of $279, plus the resort fee of $35 per room per night (taxes not included).

Rates above do not include parking (Special rate for CAJPA is $25 per day, per vehicle, plus tax). The hotel has Valet Parking only.

Taxes are currently: 14% CA Occupancy Tax, a TBID Tax of $4.00, and a .195% CA Tourism Tax, these are subject to change.

The resort fee of $35 (plus tax) gives you certain benefits and cannot be declined. Those benefits are: Basic wifi, unlimited use of the pool, hot tub, and fitness center, Keurig Coffee Maker with K-ups in each sleeping room.

A non-refundable 1st nights room and tax deposit is due with reservation. All cancellations will forfeit this deposit regardless of cancellation time frame. Changes and/or cancellations within 14 days of arrival will result in full forfeit for length of stay.

Caesars Republic (Formerly Harvey’s)

Caesars Republic is located on the Nevada side of Tahoe and is the newly renovated hotel (formerly Harveys).

Monday-Thursday

$157.70: Single/Double Occupancy; Remus Tower – CAJPA rate of $107.00, plus the resort fee of $26.95 (special rate for CAJPA) per room per night, plus taxes included.

$171.38: Single/Double Occupancy; Romulus Tower – CAJPA rate of $119, plus the resort fee of $26.95 (Special rate for CAJPA) per room per night, plus taxes included.

There is a $20 charge per room per night for guests over double occupancy.

Taxes are currently: 14% NV Occupancy Tax and a $5.00 County Tax, these are subject to change.

Attendees may also contact our Central Reservations at 1-800-455-4770. Attendees should reference the group code S09CJP6 when making their reservation. This will ensure that the group rate is quoted.

All reservations made via the telephone call center will be assessed a fee of $15 per reservation. This fee will not apply to reservations made via the Internet Reservation Link.

Please be aware that we do not use third party registration or housing services for your meeting/conference.  The only authorized sleeping rooms are on our website and advertised through emails directly from us or our staff.  Should you receive separate emails from an outside party regarding additional discounted rates, we would advise you not to engage with them or book sleeping rooms through them.
